Jiayi He, a world-class harmonica virtuoso, winner of prestigious awards in America, Europe, and the Far East, He has served as a member of the judging committees in the Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festivals held in Asian countries.
Jiayi performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras worldwide. He has been a soloist at Carnegie Hall, General Assembly Hall at United Nations and other premier venues.
Jiayi He has performed in Austria, China, England, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States.
Jiayi currently serves on the faculty of the Turtle Bay Music School in New York City.
He has appeared on TV stations including NBC, New 12 Long Island, Queens Public Television, SinoVision, Sino Television and many more. Former New York City Mayor Bloomberg attended his harmonica seminar held at the "Harmonica Mass Appeal".
Jiayi's books has been published by Mel Bay Publications. Publication includes "Recital Pieces for Chromatic Harmonica", "Virtuoso Harmonica Solos", and "Harmonica Encores".
